Where's my iLife?

01.27.2003

Steve Jobs announced a host of improvements to Apple's iApps (bundled under the name iLife). The new versions of iPhoto and iMovie were to be ready for download on 25 January. The rumor mills suggest iLife is now set for download 31 January. I'm especially excited to try out iPhoto 2.

There are also rumors circulating that iLife shipment/download was delayed because of upcoming hardware improvements to Apple's product line. If true: Wow!

Also, look out for iCommune. It's third party software that allows users to share mp3 libraries (it's primary focus is iTunes). The project was stopped a while ago due to legal issues (iCommune was using an Apple proprietary iTunes plug-in), it seems those issues have been resolved, according to macslash.org.
