Goodbye, Joe

02.18.2003

Joe Millionaire was good last night, but not amazing. I guessed right on two counts: Joe picked Zora (the only non-gold digger) and the two of them were given some money (one million to split) as a reward. But now they're showing another episode next week. Of what? Show's over. FOX is really trying to milk this show for all it's worth.

The thing is, I don't really care about the cast of Joe Millionaire. See, I still think of reality TV as regular TV, w/ a cast (e.g. actors). Do I really care whether Joe and Zora hit it off in real life and live happily ever after? No. Why did I watch the show? Because watching gold-diggers cat fight is hilarious.

My apartment redesign is moving along. Allison Spicer and Eric Gielow just came by; we came up w/ a few plans for redesigning my apartment. I have some shopping ahead of me. Anyone wanna help? Here's my list: stereo, TV-DVD combo, small table, dinette set, entertainment center, new lamps. And a whole assortment of small things.

... hey I loved Joe Millionaire because I believe in fairy tales, call me old fashion, I think watching woman fight over a chance to marry a charming man w/50 million dollars is reminiscing of Cinderella ... and the good ole days. When TV was good and interesting, like in the 17th Century.... wait... umm...

... thanks a million for the commenting help. My page is up and kicking.

As for my real thoughts on Joe Millionaire, I'm just waiting for Lambertville's Zora Day. New Jersey look out!
