Not-so-last-minute road trip

06.27.2003

I hit the road for Cincinnati in a few hours. We meet at 1977 Mopeds at 9am, hoping to be on the road well before 10am. I've known about this trip for some time, but somehow forgot to plan for it until the last minute. Weird. I'm slipping. At least The Motron is fixed and ready.

So. This post is a public last-minute plan double-check. Ready?

Called Bay at 10:30pm to make arrangements to feed my cats over the weekend. She graciously agreed. And I'm pretty sure she'll play w/ them, too, which is even better. At 8am, I head down to her work to drop off my keys. The food's in a plastic container, on the dining room cabinet, w/ a scoop inside. Two scoops per cat per day. Water as needed.

Packing list (including what I'm wearing):

Jeans
Socks & underwear, three pairs
T-shirts, three
Long sleeve shirt, one
Sweater, one
Jean jacket
Shoes
Belt
Toothbrush
Flashlight
Swiss Army knife
Pens, two
Moleskine notebook
Digital camera
Backpack

I figure I'll spend most of the night washing dishes and otherwise "straightening up" my apartment. Hey, I can always sleep in the van on the way down. Right?

Water as needed! What are they plants? Have you decide what you are doing with them while you are in Bolivia? I was in Kzoo this weekend. Kind of in and out quickly. Vic graduated and I went to that and a little party at the house and back to Holland for me. Yeah! Are you coming home at all this weekend?
