Countdown to holidays
12.17.2003My brother, Sam (who's already put up an amazing monster post), arrived safe & sound in Santa Cruz yesterday. I'll see him in a few days. I'm already on vacation.
Also, I'm officially moving. To Sopocachi. I've found a pretty nice place (huge, actually, it has two dining rooms) for $100 a month that should be much quieter than my place on the Prado.
Oh, and I'm taking advangate of my self-granted holiday to grow a beard. It's an experiment; we'll see how that goes.

$100. a month, sheesh, the rent's cheap there. Enjoy your visit with your brother. It'd be cool if you posted a round up of your holiday festivities to let us know what a Bolivian Christmas is like. Peace.

moster post, wow I moved up in the world. not sure what I think about you in a beard. but i like the new pictures on your page. that suit and tie looks sweet. i got some clothes today. can't wait to see your place!

sam: you're the first person to comment on the new pictures. yeah, i think they look much better, too. also can't wait to see my little brother in santa cruz, then show him around la paz. ciao! oh, and be sure to eat plenty of sonso (esp. from pirai) and pan de arroz. you won't find things like that in la paz, i'm afraid. lots of soup, soup, soup.
