Friday at Ô Mundo Café

02.12.2004

I'll be out of town, but I wan to post about our first live music show at O Mundo Café. Eventually, all that information'll be up on the café's official website — omundocafe.com — which I'm currently putting together.

But. If you're in La Paz this Friday. Vadik Barron, a local singer/poet will perform shortly after 10pm at O Mundo Café. There's a Bs. 5 ($0.64) cover at the door, which goes directly to Vadik. The café's located at 906 Linares, near Sagarnaga.

If you arrive early (to get a good seat/table), you should order food from Les Pot-Pourri des Gourmets — a remarkably good international & Bolivian restaurant upstairs — and eat in our café (they bring the food down, we take the dishes up). We don't have "meal" food, but plenty of coffee & espresso, beer, wine, and such. Oh, the Mojito Cubano's the house specialty.
