Ten things I can't live without

04.03.2004

I asked Nenad to come up w/ another "top favorites" list. This is what he came up with. So. With no further to-do. Here's the ten things I couldn't live w/o:

  1. Coffee. Lots of it. 24-hour coffee shops, too.
  2. Kaneda (my 12" PowerBook). If you name your laptop, you can't live w/o him.
  3. Broadband & wi-fi internet.
  4. My CD collection. Specifically, anything from March Records.
  5. My books. Not so much for the books themselves, but for all the margin notes I've written over the years.
  6. Lucia & The Motron (my mopeds).
  7. Hot showers.
  8. My comic book collection.
  9. My favorite pair of jeans.
  10. Electricity. And all that comes w/ it.

OTHER LISTS: Here's Melli's list. Or add your list in the comments.

hmmm... I will go materialistic on this one, and not list the obvious friends and family that would top the list. Well...maybe not entirely materialistic...

1. Cognitive abilities (reason, logic, etc...) (though I would hold this to be materialistic...)
2. My books (albeit a small library. Including my notebooks of notes that accompany them along with margin notes)
3. My comics. (particularly my Grant Morrison Doom Patrol run and Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis)
4. My Cd collection (at least the core ones)
5. Internet and library access
6. 24 hour coffee shops.
7. Soda. (particularly Dr. Pepper)
8. Zelda games.
9. My travel/personal journal.
10. My collection of UCB episodes.

That's about it.

Miguel:

I thought your cats were going to be in the list, but it seems you've been just fine the last months without them!

My cats aren't on the list (neither are my family & friends) because they're not "things" but personalities. But. Yeah. I love my two girls.
