Last day of vacation
08.29.2004The new semester starts tomorrow (well, actually on Tuesday). And I've still not finished painting my apartment. But since Shakespeare's Pub was throwing up the same trivia questions from last week, I figured it's a sign to head back home instead & try to at least finish up the kitchen. Sounds good to me.
Tomorrow afternoon's the departmental back-to-school picnic at Dr. Corder's house. I'm so glad he's the department's new chair. He's so on the ball. I hope he still has time to help me w/ statistics questions (but there's always Nenad, right?).
Though not done painting yet, it's starting to come together. Interestingly, fresh bright colors of the living room & kitchen make the bedroom's sick mint green (original, certainly nothing I'd ever pick) look all the more hideous. I guess that says something, eh?
