Run, run, run

10.11.2004

Went for a good run tonight, maybe 2.5 miles. It wasn't bad, despite being the first time in years. The new shoes worked quite well.

Got some paperwork done in the day, nothing exciting. I'm looking at textbooks for next semester. I'm teaching two courses: Latin American Politics (PSCI 345) & Critical Thinking (PSCI 105). Textbook orders are due 14 October. I've worked as a TA for 105 before, but this time I'm teaching the class entirely on my own. Should be interesting.

Finished putting together my dresser, despite the fact that it was a poor product. Why don't I learn my lesson & avoid Target? Why? It's just expensive crap. Still, I finally have a place to put away my clothes, making room in my closets.

Tomorrow, my students debate the future of UN peacekeeping. Should be interesting.

And should I refinance my home mortgage? I'm getting all these amazing offers from the interweb. All these reputable companies w/ the lowest rates available & it's the perfect time to blah, blah, blah. Maybe they should check if I, you know, even own a house, eh?

Cool, so we're both teaching our own 105s. Awesome, N.
