Ugh. Welcome to my world. This is how I usu handle the problem:

Reach out and grab as many neckties as possible within your immediate area. Firmly gripping the ties so as to disallow the suits to escape, walk and pull. At first, the suits will resist, but as the neckties close around their windpipes and less oxygen gets to their brains they become much more compliant. Tie the neckties to a radiator or table leg in an adjacent room. Then return to your function.
