Hello, new semester

01.02.2005

I start my busiest semester tomorrow, teaching four afternoons a week, Mon-Thur. Both syllabi were ready almost three weeks ago. But I've not really thought much about anything for two weeks. So. Yeah. I'm a bit nervous.

Meanwhile, I'm still going through my holiday pictures, and trying to get back into the information world. Two weeks of ignoring world/blogosphere news left me in a state of shock as I try to re-enter the public world. Oh, and hundreds upon hundreds of comment spam attacks. If I don't comment on your blog or anything, just give me a short while.

I have, however, enjoyed two nights in a row of LAN gaming at Kalamazoo's new Lan of Oz, downtown. This could turn dangerously addictive.

Welcome back.

Yeah, I've been getting the spam attacks as well. Is there anything we can do besides banning IPs (which doesn't seem to be all that effective)?

Not sure what else to do, but you can try setting your blog to dynamic publishing, supposedly helps (I should do that, just can't find the time). Check the MT website, though, Ben & Mena promise an update soon to solve (most of) those problems.
