Palmer House, anyone?

02.09.2005

Calling the Palmer House to book my room for 6-10 April (4 nights), I was disconnected towards the end. Now it seems I might have booked an extra room. Anyone else want it? I'll call to cancel the extra room on Tuesday, so let me me know before then.

I'm preparing for my dissertation committee meeting Friday afternoon. Looking for good feedback/criticism from the members; we'll see how that goes. In the meantime? Writing a few more sections of Chapter 1. Which reminds me: Head out to printer lab in 5 mins.

Sorry if things seemed so boring lately. Busy, busy, busy. But you should be reading about Easongate, an Ayn Rand retrospective in Reason, this week's Carnival of the Vanities, an interesting view of the "Berlin Wall orphans", and, as always, James Lileks.
