The Springing of Kalamazoo

04.14.2005

My semester's still not quite over, and spring's not yet quite here. I wrapped up my last class (345 final exam review), now I just need to finish all the 105 grading, and wait for 345 take-home finals to start coming in. I also have to file my taxes sometime tomorrow (ouch!).

The days are bright & sunny 70°; the nights are damp & breezy 30°. Spring in Michigan seems to be a tug of war between summer & winter, not a real "season" to itself. It makes for frustrating days. If I wear a jacket, I'll be too hot in the day. If I don't wear a jacket, I'll catch cold on my walk home at night.

But the weather's turning, and in 3-4 weeks I'll be living at The Parkmont. And soon, The Motron will be tearing up the streets again. Be warned.

I've no idea who's bikes those are/were. Just thought it was a cool picture.
