NEW EXHAUST & CAI

I have always wanted to get a AEM Cold Air Intake (CAI). I found a great deal on one for my car, well actually it was for a similar car and I could modify this to fit mine. I also got a great deal on an OBX Muffler and my local shop could custom fit it. Finally my GXE was going to get some work done!

I had my local shop do the exhuast piping, but I wanted Team PLP to do the CAI... so I called Hermen up and one weekend we just went to work.

After trips to Autozone and my local performance shop we got all the parts we needed and got the intake installed. I had to drill new holes in the MAF adapter, make some custom fittings for my diameter throttle body pipes, and busted our knuckles up working behind the fenders.

Once we finished the install... the car did not run right. Hermen and I worked all day Saturday and Sunday to figure it out. Nothing!

I took it back to my shop and it was my new MAF! The last thing I would of thought it was since I bought a new one for the installation.

A member of my forum (b15sentra.net) helped me with the MAF problem. So Wednesday after figuring it out, I went to Ann Arbor to meet up with the guys group. With my MAF luck... as I went to leave the meet, my MAF threw a bad code... some of the guys helped me look it over, and we think that my wiring is shorting out. So good thing I went to the meet, I think we might of solved with my MAFs have always been blowing out.

Anyhow, enjoy the pics of my new modifications, man she sounds mean now! I just need to completely rewire my MAF now...
