What's the Buzz?
So what's the buzz around Centellasville, or more commonly know as apt. 208 at the 1401. Nothing much, really, my group presentations, which as basically my exams, are both due next week. I really learned a lot this semester. I think this was one of my more productive semesters ... so look out.
On the other hand, I have begun to get more involved in campus. The latest news is about a party some students had on campus that was pretty racially charged .. see the link below. This issue actually made pretty big news, at least on a regional basis.

I am very proud of all the student I work with at La Raza who worked with faculty and the students to use this event as a way to promote social justice.
What else? Well, sadly, I haven't been mentoring at the LACC as much I would like to. I am just exhausted .. with school, fraternity, work and other things that pop up .. I just don't have the energy. Plus my last two students stopped going to the center. It's hard to lose a student you have worked with for 2 yrs. Anywho, off to a group meeting. Ciao.
