BUFFALO WINGS

"Big Daddy's" the local sub shop offers 50 wings for $15. I'm sorry, but I'm weak and I couldn't resist. So on my way to buy toothpaste I stopped, ordered 50 extra hot to go. Picked up a tube of toothpaste and rushed home to cook a pot of rice to eat with my zesty, mouth watering hot wings! The rice finished just in time, "Hope Floats" was starting on abcFamily. What a combination! LOL, ok so it's been kind of a weird day. No problem, at least I'm relaxed.

This weekend was actually one of the best in a while. Philly on Friday with Jario, ... excellent night. Bachata and Salsa dancing at Brasils and Cuba Libre. Then Sat nigh hanging with Jess. Shot OUT, it was cool. It was good to be lazy, we ran the movie marathon. "1-hour photo" and "Old School" , we made it an Andy Coates blockbuster night. It was nice, we even got some sun ;)

Well, I got to get back to my movie! CIAO!

New post for needed reasons

Ok ok, so I can't remember my Haloscan info... what does that mean. I can't edit.. or better even remove posts! The guilty party knows what I speek of. :) Jess you are a button pusher.. that would even sound better in my Andy Coates voice. That was your shot out. Don't worry you're still my number one Delaware gangsta.

Well, Sam is gone, and the weekend is finally over. I usually takes me a day to realize, the sad sad truth that this is my life.... ha ha ha.. :) Honestly, it was great to have my brother here. Hanging out in Old City - Philly was the best. I am so glad we got to catch up. I guess I just miss the days when all of us still lived at home. Lined up on the couch, watching tv. Sunday's after church debates at the dinner table. Centellas's will argue anything, just for the sake of arguement. Chasing our whiley cat Bandit, sometimes she would get lost in the ceiling tiles. Delivering newspapers... on my neon green huffy.... some of us delivered them, while others wrote them. I can't believe that was over 10 years ago!

Now it's miguel's turn to come visit. can't wait for you to get here bro. Hopefully I'll see you soon.

Cuidado! Mis Padres are comming!

Que bien, mis padres estan viajando. So.. . If you live Out West, lookout! It's great news; my parents have started their vacation. I trip to the wild Wild West. They flew out but are taking a train back. Very exciting, especially for my mom. She has always talked about doing a cross-country trip. I only wish, that when we had the Blue Malibu Station Wagon we could've pulled a Centellas super adventure. But we all know that the blue beast wouldn't have made it past the state line. .J .. I know they will have a great time, and come back with plenty of pictures. My mom will be excited with her red shoulders and burnt nose from the hot western sun.... she burns so easily. Dad will bring back little trinkets and they will soon find a finely calculated spot on his desk. A reminder to all that he has conquered the Wild West. They'll laugh about all there funny encounters.... they'll laugh so hard that it's not the story that's funny, it's the way in which it's told, or not told. I can just see us all in the living room, with their suitcase open before us, as Sam, Miguel and I sit on the floor eager to listen. Mom and Dad on their designated living room chairs, pulling out little parts of the West, sharing their memories with us, hardly able to contain their selves. I miss you two, have fun and come back safe!

Off to Philly

My brother Sam is here, and we are off to Philly with the gang. Finally I get to introduce my Delaware friends to my family. My brothers are the best, both so different, I think I am a blend of the two of them. I am very excited. This week has been great... except for some distraught news that I won't go into details. . .... but work is going awesome, having my brother here is great, ... things are just looking up. I don't know why, but I have great feeling, like a premonitions.. Something good is bound to happen. Hope I didn't jinx myself, but I can't help it.

Greetings

The title is lacking, but it is the first thing that came into my head. I have been thinking a lot about my parents, I miss them. Hopefully I can make a trip home within the next couple of weeks. They have been having some hard times, actually my family has. We have been dealing with an issue that I wish could be fixed... I'm so used to being able to work things out, smooth things over, convince people. But it hasn't been that way, and my parents have struggeled more than all of us. I thank them for being so strong...

Sam is here, which is great, and I am very happy to see him. It's been a while since we;ve hung out. This weekend is going to be great. Actually this week has already been great,

Many many thanks to Saskia and Marc for cheering us all up. I know everyone has been down the last couple of weeks. But the BBQ last night , with kus goose, Salads, meats, tostones.. etc.... Teramisu for dessert!!! Yum, excellent night. Good music, conversation... very relaxing. Now Sam is here with Vic, it's gonna be great. Now I just need one day to catch up on sleep! ... I don't see it in my near future... no prob.

A city to live in not to visit

That is all I can say. New York is great and I wish I could live there. Maybe someday. This past weekend was great, it put a lot of things that have been on my mind into perspective. I am very happy and proud to be in a fraternity, I need to say that. People are not perfect, ideals and idea get refined while time changes and I am glad I can be a part of that.

I saw the movie "Whale Rider" at the Sunset theater. Amazing, it was a truly impressive movie. But I had to laugh at myself, .. because the theater is a independent Film theather and most people call it a "Indy theater." When i heard this, my response was. as i laughed... "So since it's indy, does that mean they sell Chai tea and biscotti instead of popcorn" Well not really instead, just in conjuction with. ha ha ha, it was so funny, and the worst part was myself. The movie is based on a Maori tribe in New Zealand,.. very good by the way... before the movie they had Maori Tribepeople do traditional dance. I watched, with a steamed milk Chai tea and the "Village Voice" folder properly beneath my arm. Enough said.

Anywho, my weekend was great, I'm not going to even attempt to write about the Puerto Rican day parade. I am still in overload from all the events, people and flags!

Nueva York

I made it to New York, safe and sound, while my car made sounds from underneath and none from my radio. Thanks Tony for the MP3 walkman, I listened to music the whole way to the city. See, my car still rattles from underneath, I think it's my muffler, and since my radio is still stolen/broken it can get annoying. Hopefully next week I will get it replaced. Til then, I listen to music from the Dicsman Tony lent me.

What are my plans: Not spend money!!! Ha ha ha, I guess I'm in the wrong city for that. Luckily my brother Alex "Genesis" is putting me up. Many thanks to Becca for letting us crash at your apt. The Puerto Rican day parade is on Sunday, I am going to try to staty for it, and even march. Today, it's pizza in South Bronx, and then off to the free Salsa concert in midtown. James my roomie back from Michigan State and one of my best friends is also in the city. Hopefully we can meet up. Welll, I better get ready for the day. Write more later! CIAO!

Back to work

Yes folks, the weekend is over, and sad to say that it rained everyday! It's ok, I didn't want to see the sun anyways, I want to be pastey white. I like the ghostly look of death. Actually dispite all the gray clouds, I had a great weekend. I am fully recovered from the car break in and insurance repair incident. No no no, my car is not fixed yet, but I have recoped emotionally. :)

Finally reserved my ticket to Puerto Rico. Look out sandy hot beaches "Lechy" is on his way. I leave the 14th of Aug, and return to rainy MSU the 26th. I'm excited, for vacation, for classes, to see my family, the wedding, my birthday, and to see my friends! It's gonna be a great next 3 months.

New Picture.. and finally an update

Ok, so it's been a while. But I am finally updating. I can't believe it's been so long, the funny part is that people are now starting to read my page. Well, for all you waiting for new information... here it comes.

No more Philly, yes you heard it from the source. No more, and why.... well, "Mo Money" answers it. I need sometime to recoup from the costly nights in the city. Lately it's been 5 dollar pitchers at UofD.

The picture above shows my car after I had it broken into. They didn't take my radio, but they did steel my face plate, and my express clothes. At least they left my umbrella.

Aw, and the picture of the Monte. Last Thrusday was Jeff Gordon day at work. Pretty cool, free lunch, free coffee mug, and I did get to eat lunch in the same room as Jeff Gordon. Short post, I know. Tomorrow, I will write more.
