Beautiful

My niece is the most wonderful beautiful person in the world. I just had to say that ... and if you haven't seen her latest pics www.centellas.org/novali then you are missing out.

I have officially 8.5 hrs until my first Mid-term. Yes Mid-Term! that is what it says on my course pack. I know it's not half way thru the term ... but tell that to my professors. :) It's all good, I've studying pretty hard for these, so I think I'm in good shape. If not ... well they're only worth 30% of my grade!

This weekend was actually really good, I didn't go out that much becuase I did study a lot! Brett.... I'm real sorry ... but I did study. Sat, I went out for a bit to a Latin Club ... called Playa's Club , in South Side Lansing.. .. kinda funny becuase it's inside a Bowling Alley! I had to convince Salomeh , not to look in before we walked in. When we got there, I think we brought the total amount of poeple up to 15. It's ok, the music was hot and the tall Long Island I got got me moving!

Well, I better run ... I'm gonna run thru my FLAHS CARDS and then hit the sack. Yep, ... that's right ... I'm an officail flash card person. We'll see if tthey work. CIAO!

Exams exams!

I just finished my last exam for the week! It was a bit harder than I expected, but I think I did good over all. The results will be in by friday... so if I'm out partying ... I did good.. .. if I'm in at home .. studying.. then you know. Somehow, I can feel myself getting behind. It's like a heavy weight constantly pushing me into the ground. I need to catch UP! But I also am in the need of some good relaxing. We'll see.

Sorry if I haven't got back to you the last couple of days.. I've been cramming..

Weekends are not long enough

This is so true! I'm finding myself sitting in my office, wondering how I didn't get my studying done... somehow I got really good at wasting time. Maybe I shouldn't be so critical, I just have 2 exams comming up and I am really worried about how I will do on them. I'm gonna try to sneek in some study time during lunch ... and hit the books hard tonight. We'll see.

I don't know why I am so nervous... I guess I just don't think I am handeling school the way I thought. I wanted to be on top of everything... . being involved on campus and working really makes it hard to schedule. I'm not trying to complain, .. but when I hear and see people who can just sit around and bum all day. ... I get jealous!

This weekend was my grandpa's birhtday. I drove home to have dinner with the family at the Olive Graden. I had an awesome time. The whole Emmanuel Baptist church was there, it was great to see Grandpa looking and feeling good, talking with old friends. Definetly the highlight of my weekend. I really needed to go home and see the family. Even if is was just for a hour. Well I better get back to work!

That's right, I'm out. I think if I do this again, not post for over a week, I will loose my 4 faithful readers. Time is come to take action, this weekend will be the weekend I take charge of my blog.

What is the deal with my Puerto Rico trip: Everybody wants to know ... sorry ... I can't .. I have to put the pictures up, I'm almost ready ;)

I had the best feeling going into this semester, I was going to 4.0 every class, wake up early everyday and be more active on campus. I'm almost there, but I can't seem to get up early. What is going on! Tonight I'm going to Meijer's to buy a coffee maker with a timer. Maybe the small of a dark roast coffee brewing in the morning will wake me up.

Over 11 days!

It's been that long since I posted last! I can't believe how fast these last 2 weeks have gone. Updates updates! The apartment is finally clean and ready for the semester. We haven't decorated yet, but it's starting to feel like home. Flees are gone ... it was almost sad to see them go! ;)

This semester my schedule sucks, at least time wise. I really really like all my classes, but the times are just horrible. It's getting really hard with my work schedule. It's getting done, and I am very happy to be back in Lansing. Yes it's true! HAPPY, I know I might not seem like it all the time, but I do feel good to be back.

Good News: I finally got an official, non-official - email from DuPont saying that my offer letter is in the mail! YEA, that is a huge relief. We'll see how it looks, and then I will have a month to decide.
