Global Business Law

This semester I am taking my Business Law class. It's actually a really good class , I love learning about law. It's not just memorizing codes, it's more about developing critical thinking and reseasoning skills. Anywho ...my class is completely out of control. Our professor is a young lawyer who jokes and kids around with in class all the time. Sometimes the guys take it to far and really make her mad ... but all in all I think she likes the jokes and interaction. But today, .. topped it off ... today , one whole row was missing from class. This row is always filled with these 5 guys who are in the same fraternity. Anywho ... she notices it and then tells class that they all sent her different email excuses ... kind fishy .. Well about 5 min later one fo them comes in and says, "Sorry , we were playing Beer Pong ... I lost so I came in" ... Everybody cracked up and our prof. just put her head down, trying not to laugh. THen to top it off ... another 5 min. later this guy walks into class and starts going through the stack of papers at the front of the room. I sit up in the front and have never seen him ...

he asks me, " Is this the homework pile?"
Our professor looks at him and says, "Who are you?"
He goes ... "Uh... um... I was sent to turn in some poeples homework" ....
Then somebody in class goes ... "Are you a pledge?"
He goes ... "Um ... yeah ... and they asked me to come to class for them ... and turn in thier homework"

Well everybody and our Prof. just start rolling! I gotta say that was definetly one of the funniest moments of my collegiate career......

5 min before class

I have 5 minutes before class ... but I have to let you all in on something funny.

I go to the Business Library and check out reserved books so often that the circulation workers actually try to guess the call number of the book I try to check out. That's Pretty good ... I mean they know me and my books... and since there are over a hundred books on reserve I gotta say... "That's pretty cool"

Well better run back to class. This is also for all the disbelievers out there. No I am not MIA! Just look in the library or send me an email :)

Noel Johnson

Today I went to court for the first time in my life. My roommates and I were subpoenaed to testify against Noel Johnson, the 14 yr old juvenile that broke into our apartment last year. It was really different. First off the trial time was set for 9am. We showed up at 9am ... but our little friend didn't arrive until 10am... then we waited ... and waited ... The defense attorney came out twice and joked on how he was going to interrogate us. After waiting another 30 min... The prosecuting attorney told us that Noel was going to plea "No Contest" to all charges. That was it. We had our sobpoenas signed and got paid $7.5 for being a witness.... even though... we didn't witness. It's ok because I needed the cash to pay for the $5 parking ticket I got when I went out to my car! :)

Anyhow, it was a strange start for the day.. Now I’m just trying to write a paper ... I'm the worst writer. I have bad grammar and I get really frustrated. Oh well ... here goes...

I'm back

Ok, I'm back with Blogger... I tried MT, but in order to change the sytle of my site I would have to learn CSS ... .. I know I know, I should be able to pick it up quickly ... but to be honest, it just started to frustrate me. So I'm on blogger , commenting is not working, I haven't posted any pictures nor updated on my last two trips! In time, in Time.

Here is one quick update. I am no longer working ... that's right! It feels so good! I have time for my studies now! I love it. I'm still super busy, but at least, now I can get things done. :)

Sorry, I tried MT, but I just don't have enough time to work with it.... I know this will make Miguel mad ... but I just wanna post! Why does the man have to hold me back! Just kidding Miguel. I really really appreciated you helping me with MT, but I do not have any HTMl skills... :(
