so long ... I forgot my password

I haven't logged into blogger for a while ... in fact so long that when I reached the log in page, I stumbled and could not remember my password. I had to use a password that was so old; it's actually back as my preferred password in my rotation.

Not blogging is like not returning phone calls, which I am also guilty of; because the longer you go without blogging the harder it is to blog. When you eventually do, as I am now, you feel the need to explain yourself and tell your audience why you haven't. Today I will not do that … ok … maybe just a little …

Sunday's are always pretty good days. I usually wake up around 10am, walk into my office and grab my stack of unopened mail, as the coffee brews and after feeding the cats, to get ready for some serious work. I like to organize ... no ... I need to organize. So Sunday I clear through everything and create a list for the upcoming week. Not until that list is created and everything is filed away, can I really feel good about sitting down and getting a head start on the workweek.

This particular Sunday is a much-needed day of rest and organizing. I have just come off of a couple of the most busissiest weeks in my life. Between juggling two jobs, planning and speaking at a conference, things have just been piling up. They are piling up so high and fast that I can't keep pace. Which is hard for me. I like to take on challenges. I like to be the problem solver, but recently I haven't been able to focus on any particular thing and the essence of who I am is making it hard for me to relax and feel good about my self.

Although my presentation at my conference went well, it still seems to pale in comparison to all the work I have ahead of me. I feel that if I don’t deliver on every single item and give it my best attention to detail that I will be looked at as a failure. I don’t why it’s so hard for me to let things go, but it is. At least my placement for my old job is here and this week will be my second week of training her. So relief is on its way.

Well, any who, I need to finish my list; I think I will add a blog provision to my list. Talk to you all later.
